Last updated: 2026-10-11
Version: 1.1 · Effective: 2026-10-11
1. Who we are
Drake AI Video (https://drakeaivideo.com) is operated by LI KUN, an individual based in China. LI KUN is the personal information handler (data controller) for this service. Privacy and support contact: support@drakeaivideo.com.
This policy covers website visits, accounts, photo uploads, AI generation, payments, and support or reporting communications. Information handled independently by third-party websites is subject to their own policies.
2. What we collect
Account records: email, display name, sign-in method, session data, and settings. Google sign-in does not give us your Google password.
For email and password sign-in, we store a password hash, not your plain-text password. Third-party sign-in may also provide an account identifier, avatar, and authorization tokens. Account records may include language, registration source, and registration IP address.
Generation records: uploads, settings, task status, output files, and credit use. Do not upload unnecessary personal or sensitive content.
Billing records: plan, order status, and credit grants or consumption. Checkout providers collect payment details. We do not store full card numbers.
Technical records: IP address, request time, browser data, and error logs, used to operate, debug, and secure the service.
Support and report records: contact details, messages, content links or task IDs, evidence of rights, and handling records you provide. Send only what is needed for the request, not passwords, full card numbers, or unnecessary identity documents.
3. How we use it
We use this information to sign you in, run generations, keep your creations, process payments, send account email, answer support, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely, depending on the purpose, on performance of our service contract, legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and security, legal obligations, or your consent. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it as provided by law without affecting prior lawful processing.
Specifically, accounts, photo generation, result delivery, billing, and support serve our contract with you. Security, fraud prevention, reports, and necessary service notices rely on legitimate interests or legal obligations. Product analytics rely on legitimate interests where lawful, and tracking that requires consent relies on your consent. Tax, accounting, and lawful authority requests rely on legal obligations.
We do not use your uploads or outputs to train or fine-tune our own AI models without your explicit consent. Third-party model data handling and safeguards are addressed in the provider information below.
5. Cookies and website analytics
We use essential cookies for sign-in sessions and account security. When enabled, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and process browser, device, approximate location, and page-view information; Vercel Analytics, when enabled, measures aggregate visits and usage. We do not deliberately send email addresses, names, uploaded photos, generation prompts, or payment information as analytics event content to these services.
We also use 30-day first-party cookies for a random visitor identifier and first acquisition source. Our own database records photo selection, registration, generation clicks, pricing views, and checkout navigation. These events may be linked to your account after sign-in to understand conversion; completed payments come from verified order records. Country uses approximate hosting-provider location, and acquisition retains UTM labels and external referrer hostnames, not full referrer URLs or photo contents.
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out tool. Blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in or other features. Clearing cookies does not automatically erase data already recorded on our servers; contact us for a deletion request.
6. Retention
Photos are retained for up to 30 days from upload; generated videos and their content records for up to 30 days from completion. They are then deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Download copies promptly; retention does not guarantee uninterrupted file availability during that period.
Removing a creation from your gallery hides its record; it does not automatically erase photos or videos from cloud storage. To request deletion of stored files or account closure, contact support@drakeaivideo.com from your account email and identify the relevant task IDs or file links so we can verify and locate them.
Account information is retained while your account is active. After account closure and identity verification, account information not legally required is deleted or anonymized within 30 days. Support, report, and appeal records are retained for up to 30 days after the matter closes; routine technical logs and visitor events recorded in our own analytics database for up to 30 days from collection.
Google Analytics data follows the retention settings of that service and Google policies; aggregate reports may be retained longer. The 30-day period for our own analytics database does not apply to data independently processed by Google Analytics.
The 30-day limit does not apply to order, tax, accounting, or security records that must legally be retained, balance records needed to honor unused credits, or minimal information needed for legal holds or unresolved disputes. Those records are used only for the relevant purpose and deleted or anonymized after the applicable statutory retention or preservation requirement ends. Waffo and other third parties handle independently retained transaction or backup copies under their applicable laws and policies.
7. Your rights
Depending on the law where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy or portable copy of your data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we normally respond to rights requests within one month of receipt. Legally permitted extensions for complex requests will be explained within the original deadline, together with the new deadline. Elsewhere, local statutory deadlines apply.
Email support@drakeaivideo.com with the subject “Privacy request”, using your account email where possible, and explain your request. We may need appropriate identity or authorization checks to prevent unauthorized access or deletion. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any legal reasons we cannot fulfill a request. You can also contact us without an account.
8. Information used for reports and content review
To investigate content reports, rights complaints, appeals, or suspected abuse, we may review relevant photos, generated videos, task records, necessary account details, and communications. Review is limited to what is needed to verify the issue, take action, respond, and meet legal duties.
Necessary information may be received by staff handling the matter, service providers, or legally authorized authorities. We do not voluntarily disclose a reporter’s contact details to the reported user without consent unless required by law, but cannot promise anonymity in every legal proceeding. Do not attach child sexual abuse material to reports.
9. Security and international processing
The service uses measures such as HTTPS, account access controls, and upload validation to protect data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Anyone holding a valid media link may be able to access that file; do not publicly share links containing private content.
When we discover a personal data breach, we assess the risk and take remedial and notification steps required by law. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies and the threshold for reporting to a supervisory authority is met, we report within 72 hours of awareness as legally required. We notify affected users when required, without undue delay for high-risk breaches.
We and our providers may process and store information outside your country, where data protection rules may differ. International processing must use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law. Contact us for information about locations and safeguards relevant to your data.
10. Children’s privacy
The service is for people aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, or someone submitted a child’s photo without authorization, contact us with relevant details so we can investigate, restrict the relevant use, and address deletion as required by law.
11. Policy updates
We publish updates, version numbers, and effective dates here. We normally give at least 15 days’ notice through the website or your registered email for material changes affecting your rights or how data is used. Legally required or urgent security changes may take effect sooner, with prompt notice. New processing that requires consent begins only after the required consent is obtained.
